Tudor hide-away

Temple Guiting Mannor

Having been a privately owned house since the 15th Century,
this Grade 1 listed Tudor house has been skillfully restored and
turned into a luxurious private rental in a charming Cotswold setting.

Though there is that certain spooky eeriness about this house, it is
exactly the kind of place I would like to spend a weekend at with
a bunch of really good friends. We'd go at the peak of autumn -
enjoy long walks in the stunning countryside, eat hearty food,
drink mulled wine by the open fire at night.
If only the Cotswolds wasn't so far away...

UXUA Casa Hotel - Trancoso, Brazil

9 charming homes built by local artisans using ecological
and traditional building methods, tucked away in the lush
and authentic Bahian fishing village of Trancoso, Brazil.

'Trancoso', by the way, means 'paradise on earth' - I think
that seems to be the perfect description of this place.

Sounds tempting doesn't it..!?

Casa la Siesta

Doesn't this look like a wonderful place to
lay down the hat for a week or so...

It's a beautifully restored luxury country retreat
tucked away in the hills of Andalucia.
With only 7 rooms, it is bound to offer
private and calming experience..

Cocoa Islands bliss

Though my favorite holiday may not be a tropical one,
this place in the Maldives sure looks like paradise..

I mean, just look at this!

What could be more blissful than having no
other worries on the mind than choosing to
either sit under that parasol or not..

Though I would never stay in a house on the water
with my kids, it does look fantastic..
