I have a couple of exciting announcements to do.
Firstly. As of today I have 100 lovely followers! Whohoo!!
I actually don't like calling these/you people 'followers'.
I prefer 'friends' or even 'blog family' in some instances.
It is a privilege and pleasure blogging for/with you my lovelies
and I am as you know extremely grateful for your loyalty
and frienship! Without you this would be no fun at all!
The second is that I am doing my first ever 'give-away'!
I am so excited to let you all know that a great Sydney based
lighting store called 'Buyster' has kindly agreed to let me give
one of you lovely people a beautiful 'Rovan Ball' table lamp!
It is a great lamp with gorgeous finishes and I would love to
have if for myself - in fact I might just get a couple for my house.
I can see it on a cute bedside table teamed with some gorgeous
framed photos, or on a dresser next to a stunning bouquet of flowers
and a stack of books. Classic romantic elegance with an edge.
The options are endless and I love the contrast of the dark wood
base with the white silk screen. Immediately when I saw it I was
taken to the streets of Paris and in particular the street lights.

One thing I love about your blog is the diversity... something for everyone.. or every mood... Secondly... what a fabulous giveaway... and this is one lovely lamp.. answering to your question - apple pie in Polish is "szarlotka" which you pronounce [sharlotka] :)
ReplyDeleteAnd referring to your post - street lights can make the whole town, they are part of so called "city furniture", and they are as important as the rest of "furniture" like bins, benches, advertisements. You found great ones!!!
