Barbara Lee DaBoll, a special needs teacher
invented these fantastic 'crayon rocks' in order
to help children stimulate fine motor development.
The crayons are designed to stimulate the development
of the so called 'tripod grip' (thumb, and two fingers)
that help kids prepare for handwriting later on.
Since children often use crayons as their very first
writing or drawing tool, Barbara wanted to provide one that
was easy, fun and safe to use for all ages and skill levels.
The crayons come in a range of fantastic natural mineral
colours (!) with a base made from organic soy wax,
making them non-toxic, eco-friendly and extremely smooth.
What a great gift!
