Danish house tour

Soothing white, contrasting blacks & greys, amazing light, and large airy rooms with a mix of Scandinavian, French and Oriental details. This is the home of Danish decor and styling legend Tine Kjeldsen.

How amazing isn't this beautiful Moroccan tray!?! Also loving that deep colour of those 'Champagne Grapes'.

I think the sleek, shiny black floors is the perfect offset for Tine's more quiet pieces like this stunning cabinet. It all just feels so crisp and fresh, don't you think!?

Stripes. Does anyone ever grow tired of them?! It is very typical for us Scandinavians to feel a close attachment to stripes, and this simple cotton rug is no exception. I think it gives this room a light, modern yet warm feel.

I just love this shot of a section of the main house. So 'Danish' in my mind - the white facade, the soft greens of the garden and the gravel path.

I love everything about this little guest house and the alfresco scene. Such closeness to nature with many rustic and historical elements from our Scandinavian history (the building style, the fire place etc). Who wouldn't want to stay here!?!

Hi Denise and welcome to my blog!
Yes, isn't this place just heaven.
It is the home of Danish interior designer Tine K.
The stunning setting in Denmark (near Copenhagen) also helps making this home perfect.

Thanks for commenting - I love hearing what my readers think!
