Yesterday I read this post over at my close friend Monika's, and it reminded me of Danish artist Tenka Gamelgaard's black & white studio home.
I adore the fact that this studio allows for both musical and painted art! Black & white and monochromatic decorative & creative expression are deeply seated in the souls of Scandinavian people. No wonder I can picture myself happily painting away in this studio! (no pun intended)
Tekka writes a blog
that to me is a celebration of black & white
art, design and photography. It's well worth a visit for those who
haven't yet discovered it!
* I'd love this one for my living room!*
Before I go I just want to mention my blog roll.. Some of you may have noticed that I removed the long list of fabulous blogs from my blog face. This is only a temporary void whilst I work out a more efficient way of listing all my favourite cyber destinations. They will all be back soon, I promise!
*And one of these too.. *
I will be back in a few days with the next detox series post.
Until then I am sending you lots of
sunny Spring-time hugs from Sweden!

Groovy! Loving these black and white images. I am really looking forward to your next detox post. I'm currently reading a book called Detox for Women. XX
I love the "spider lamp" on the third phot (but not for my own home), saw once similar in a Hong Kong cafe.
Oh that lighting fixture in the studio blows my mind - it's just fabulous with cream on top!
When I was in photo school, I dreaded color photo assignments, give me black and white every time :)
I love the signatures - artists always make every aspect of their life more beautiful - even the way they write. Love it.
Une très jolie publication...
gros bisous
Hi girls and thank you for your comments!
Stacey - I am so loving B/W right now. And isn't there something about stripes.. It's deeply imprinted in my Swedish soul. :) Detox post coming soon. xx
Tuuli - Yes the spider lamp is cool but it freaks me out a little. Somehow it feels 'alive' doesn't it..! Fits in my 'hungry lamps' family! :)
Jeanette - Yes colour is hard to crack with a camera. I love B/W photography and I have a very skilled husband who takes the most amazing shots. Pop into his flickr account - you'll be blown away. xx
Barbara - Me too. It really can make or breake a piece of art somehow. Tekka has a great sign off doesn't she!?
Martine - Merci beaucoup. xx
Have a lovely rest of the week everyone and thanks again for stopping by.
xx Charlotta
