'Table Mountain' retreat..

This is what you get when you let an interior
designer and a rock band guitarist transform a
former brothel into a fabulous family retreat..
(I hear the late Diana Vreeland whisper 'Why don't you..')

Nice darker tones mix with lighter contrasts,
modern sits comfortably next to rustic organic
and all of this with a tangible personal edge.

The seamless transition between inside and
outside is brilliant, something that must make
their life with 4 year old daughter Cleo easier..

I quite like these sculptural wooden blocks.

Cow skins on concrete (or untreated wooden)
floors are always enough to reel me in..

I like the Cognac and burnt Amber tones
in contrast with the dark shades of grey.

Fab solution for the outdoor shower - the
chunks of wood against that 'Thunder Grey'.
Buddah is always welcome in our home and
I like the little statue next to the soap dish.
