Couple of great chairs..

Just a quick one to say that I came across two
great posts about chairs today.. one by clever Sue
of 'the Zhush' (top image) and the second by Anne
over at 'The City Sage' - both brilliant weblogs!

I love this chair that Sue found via Studiolise!
I see a hint of modern Adam's Family..

Anne wrote a brilliant post about wing-back chairs.
Do jump across and read it - so well written.

With that I am off to bed my lovelies.

Happy weekend ahead for all of you, I hope.

G'nite.

xx Charlotta

What a great wingchair. The kind of piece that will just make any room, and the kind of chair that makes it lovely to sit down and work forever. Lidy

Hoppas att allt ar ok. Nar aker du hem? Kram

Sansku - yes, it surely has character.

Caroline - hello and so happy you found your way here. Thank you for following, I hope you visit often. x

Sharon - welcome to you too. I love meeting new friends. Especially when they come via the lovely Greet. She is such a Belgian pearl!
I know what you are saying re the first chair but it is fabulous isn't it!?

Catherine - the New Victorian style. Yes on the march and for sure a little less ornate than the original Victorian.

Nuit - I knew you'd understand! :)

Manvi - yes, I dream of one too. Have an older plumper version of a wing back, but I want a tall elegant one as in no 2. xx

Marzia - Thank you! Yes, I really do care about my friends and I like to pay attention.
Sorry about my explosion of entries - I am a bit like that. Have a lot of energy and love to share. :)
Ciao from an equally rainy Sydney. xx

Maryanna - hello, I haven't seen you in a while. Lovely that you came by. Yes, do check out Anne's post. You'll love it. Have a great weekend and thanks for leaving a comment. xx

Lidy - hello and thank you for leaving a comment. Yes a wingback is always right - could sit there for ever. :)

Christina - have a lovely weekend you too. I love seeing pictures of your life in your second blog. Also think you did a brilliant job on Catherine's diningroom. So many nice details and thoughts.

Lots of love to you all and thank you for your comments.

Charlotta -- Nice to be back on your blog for the first time in a few weeks. Great post, as always. Hey, you've developed quite a following just in the past few weeks; deservedly so!! Keep up the good work. There aren't enough truly high-quality blogs, i.e. high-quality on all fronts.
Kudos.
XO
Michael

PS: A bit jet-lagged still following Seattle! Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. here in Germany is NOT my usual blogging hour, but the early bird catches the good blog posts! :-) Looking forward to summer-themed posts on your blog in the coming weeks and months.
