Have yourself a Metallic little Christmas...

.. Let your hearts be light...
From now on, our troubles will be out of sight..

Have yourself a Metallic little Christmas,
Make the yule-tide gay..
From now on, our troubles will be far away..

Here we are as in olden days...
Happy golden days of yore..
Faithful friends who are dear to us,
Gather near to us once more...

Through the years we'll all be together,
If the fates allow..
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough...
And have yourself a metallic little Christmas now..!

How to make sequined balls:

 via Martha Stewart

I loved making these when I was little, though back then we'd use good
old polystyrene balls, loose sequin and pins. Either way, they are good fun!

I love all the sparkly!
I remember making sequined trinkets -- just as you described: push pins and large sequins.
Hope you're getting in the festive spirit!!

They're so fun. I wish someone would make some for me. Just can't put another project on my plate right now. My daughter is coming home for school break, perhaps I can con her into doing it, looks so easy.

This post certainly brightened my day! It has been filled with endless packing, wrapping and the stuffing of boxes-so not fun!:-). Thanks for your kind words too. XX
