Really..?

Look, I am all for a beautiful home, and truly believe
that the finer and smaller details make all the
difference, but really? Toilet paper origami?

I'm sure that my guests and family would break into a smile
and think 'aaw isn't she a darl' if they saw this in our home,
but the very next thought my husband would think would
be to swiftly call a doctor..  I find this level of attention to
detail a little scary. Should it come to this?

What do you think?

Famille Summerbelle

Cute stuff for the nursery or playroom
by Famille Summerbelle *.

Paper cut maps of London, Paris and NYC
with amazing and fun details to explore
with the little ones..

Paste your own photos or hand-drawn portraits
onto this lovely family tree..
Particularly lovely for those of us/you who
don't have the whole family in one country..

'Fun when you learn' poster.

This wallpaper reminds me of the knitted
jumpers I wore growing up in Sweden..
Love it - the wallpaper that is, the jumpers
were very itchy and not so comfortable..

This colourful papercut bunting reminds me
a bit of Tibetan prayer flags. Would be great for
a colourful birthday party for a little someone.

Pretty forest animals

I am a huge fan of forest animals - I mean, how could
I not love these divine creatures that live in the
magical forests in my beloved Sweden!

So I was quite thrilled when these images of
wall stickers were part of a recent newsletter
from the divine Papier d'Amour (shop).

If you are not familiar with this store,
do jump on to their website or better yet
visit them down in Double Bay, Sydney.
(be prepared to become addicted!)

I will do a proper post about the store
at a later stage - it is too lovely a place
to post about without proper pictures.

Ryantown - again

Ok so I am repeating myself here...

You see, I blogged about 'Ryantown' and
the talented Mr Rob a while ago (*), but the designs
are so beautiful and addictive that I just can't help myself..

I mean just look at this one people!

Limited edition print (1:14) - surely
sold out by now...
(however if not, then 'Dear Santa..')

As you Londoners know, 'Ryantown', the shop,
is situated at 126 Columbia Rd (E2)...

I will be there with bells and whistles
next time I am in town.

It looks wonderful and you can read a first hand
shop experience on the lovely blog 'Made By White'

Last but not least, some more eye candy from the
'Ryantown blog', that was launched in support of
the shop opening back in June 2008.

Super cute leather wallets available via the store... *sigh*

Sticky tape (via the Esty shop)

This is what I should have hyperventilated in
a couple of weeks ago whilst waking next
to my sick daughter in hospital...

P.S.

For information and pictures from Ryantown's
pop up show in NY back in May - click HERE.
(there are a few other Ryantown USA links listed via their post)

When are you coming to Sydney Rob?

Fold Here - cute steel wire cards

Though I always enjoy seeing varied interpretations
of old, tried & tested design concepts and executional styles,
it is nice to see something different & unique pop up.
These steel wire designed cards by 'Fold'
feel very fresh and new right now.

Amy Butler paper goods

I just don't seem to get enough of
Amy Butler's amazing products at the moment.
Every time I see something by her I am completely drawn to it.
The designs feel so fresh and positive and
I find myself smiling every time I see them.

Here are some inspiration from her paper goods collections.
Hopefully they will make you happy too.
