Another island that is bound to spellbound you is Panarea.
Though Panarea is known as 'the party island' of the
Aeolie islands, and even been quoted as the 'Ibiza of Italy'
it is still authentic, very charming and incredibly beautiful.

On a clear night you may be lucky enough to see the nearby
volcano of Stromboli perform its magic fire-works - something
that took my breath away when I was there a few years ago.
The Aeolian Islands (8 in total) are a cut above any other place
I have ever been - there is a particular magic about them that
will stay with you for the rest of your life!
One place to stay when on Panarea is 'Hotel Raya', however
if you want to avoid large crowds and loud parties, don't go
here during high-summer! September is divine though!
